Our Story
Desert Aquifer Plumbing started from a simple frustration: too many Las Vegas homeowners were getting the same generic advice from plumbers who did not understand what our water and our ground actually do to a home’s plumbing. Lake Mead water carries a heavy mineral load. Expansive desert soil shifts under foundations. Why “Desert Aquifer”
Our name is not decorative. An aquifer is the underground layer of rock and sediment that actually holds and moves groundwater, the unglamorous, unseen part of the system that everything else depends on. That is exactly how we think about plumbing: the visible fixture or symptom is rarely the real story, and the actual cause is usually underneath, in the water itself or the ground a home sits on. Naming the business around that idea was a way of committing to it as a working principle, not just a slogan. It is a reminder, every time we walk into a home, that the visible problem is usually a symptom of something happening below the surface, and that treating the symptom alone rarely solves anything for good.
